Description
The villa is a leisurely 8-minute downhill walk away from the pebbled beach and sparkling waters of the Med. Two private, road level, parking spaces are a God send in the busy Summer months. From the parking area, the villa is reached by stone clad steps that lead up and around the pretty terraced gardens.
Divided into two independent floors, the top half of the property is on the same level as the swimming pool and BBQ area; a fabulous entertainment space complete with sunbeds, deckchairs, and an outdoor dining table, all surrounded by lush trees and Mediterranean flowering plants. There are also sea views from the pool area.
Inside, two good size bedrooms, a large double bed and a twin room with two single beds, share a family bathroom with bath and overhead shower and a handy separate washroom. On the same floor, the kitchen looks out over a breakfast bar to the large lounge-diner; a relaxing space with high ceilings, lots of light and heaps of Mediterranean charm. Outside, a partially covered terrace offers alfresco dining and a lovely panorama of pine trees and distant glimpses of the sea.
The third bedroom has a large double bed that can be separated into two individual beds to suit guests needs. Accessed via stairs at the side of the house, and complete with its own lounge, Smart TV, fridge, and en-suite shower room, this space is more like its own private apartment. All three bedrooms offer guests quality beds, air-conditioning, built-in wardrobes, and mosquito nets on the windows.
JH Top Tip – Get up and out early to beat the summer crowds that head down to the beach. Join a kayak tour to Portichol Island or take lunch at one of the coves two restaurants.

It was a beautiful house with nice outdoor space. There were several nice seats outside so you could sit in both the sun and the shade. Beautiful view from the balcony. Quiet place and fantastic beds with very good mattresses. Stay within walking dissee more

Quiet place and fantastic beds with very good mattresses. Stay within walking distance of 2 beautiful miradores with a restaurant/beach club with beautiful views. It is important that you are good on your feet because the house is built in terrace form and you have to be able to climb several stairs. It was also very nice that there were 2 private parking spaces

Casa Azucena is a bright, spacious villa that sleeps up to 6 guests. Situated in the exclusive La Guardia Park area in Javea. Within 5 minutes by car there are a couple of restaurants and a small supermarket, and within a 10 minute drive the Cap de La Nao peninsula and lighthouse, offering stunning views of the rocky headlands and bays. Nearby coves Granadella and La Barraca offer snorkelling, sea bathing and beach bars.
Set over two floors, on the ground floor a large en-suite double bedroom and twin bedroom with separate bathroom are easily accessible from the lounge, kitchen and pool area, making both rooms ideal for guests with mobility issues. The master en-suite bedroom is on the first floor and benefits from a fabulous South facing balcony with views of the pool and gardens.
Outside, Summer living is especially well catered for with the south-facing furnished terraces and large, sunny pool area for sunbathing and relaxation. The walled and gated grounds are part lawn and part gravel, planted with palms, flowering shrubs and small trees.
JH Loves: Casa Azucena is about 7-10 minutes drive from the cafes, bars and restaurants of the Arenal sandy beachfront, and within a 15 minute drive of Javea port and old town.
