Description
Hidden in a private dead-end street, at the foot of the Montgó National Park, the property is 10 minutes by car from the old town of Jávea and, in the opposite direction, from the Denia Marriot Golf Resort and Spa. The famous local restaurants Los Almendros and Montgo are a walk from the property, and the charming Ermita shop with an outdoor café is just 5 minutes by car.
Enter the house and fall in love with the open-plan farmhouse-style living-dining room, with double-height ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, and a romantic mezzanine.
Built on a single floor, there are several steps to go up to the two guest rooms and another to go up to the dining room from the living room. Both rooms offer comfortable single beds, and in one of them, a small balcony overlooks the pool and the front garden of the house. The double rooms share a modern bathroom with a spacious ground-level shower. The third bedroom, or suite, is on the same level as the living room and has its own bathroom, and a lovely outdoor patio. The high ceilings and the golden iron headboard give this bedroom a relaxed and romantic feel. All bedrooms have air conditioning, large built-in wardrobes and views of the garden.
In contrast to the traditional air of the other rooms, the kitchen is a modern refuge with all the necessary appliances and gadgets for cooking or making toast and a cup of filtered coffee. At the end of some stairs leading from the kitchen, there is a practical laundry room.
At the end of the house, a glorious glazed terrace offers guests an alternative dining room and views of the pool and gardens. Go out to the large pool terrace, to the dining/barbecue area and to a lovely Mediterranean garden. In front of the house, the private entrance offers space for up to two cars.
JH loves: the location! Walk along one of the famous routes that climb to the top of the Montgó mountain, rent a bike and hit the road, book a golf round at the gold club in Denia or Jávea, or simply enjoy the pool and gardens surrounding the villa. Whether you're into walking, hiking, playing golf, or sunbathing by the pool, Villa Celestia is perfectly situated for both nature lovers and adrenaline addicts.

There is no check in. You do the check in yourself after having collected the keys in the village. I find (thats very personal) picking up the keys and sort things out yourself not a good service. More over because it then takes time to discover thinsee more

More over because it then takes time to discover things are missing or not working and it manouvres me in the position of having to reach out. While that is not the idea. I would say the idea should be unburdening (if that is a good word in this context). So:
- Central heating did not work. Upon request someone came and turned it on. But a day later the thermostat automatically counted down to 15 degrees, whatever we did. - you have to pay when the bbq is not cleaned upon departure, but for that i needed to clean the thing while not having used it, as it was really dirty on the down facing side . - we couldn't use the Bbq however intended, as there was no gas left in the cylinder. - the toiletseat in the main bathroom was loose, not very comfortable - The washing machine did not work. It gave water but couldnt pump it away, so we were left with wet laundry not being able to dry since there was no heating... So overall, despite the house being ok, the experience was everything but relaxed. Ending with no check-out and in need of delivering the keys back to the office. With all the fines mentioned in your documents for not doing stuff properly, returning keys, cleaning stuff etc. What money back rules do you have when there is an experience like this? Or doesn't it cut both ways? |

Its absence made the indoor environment uncomfortable, especially due to the large windows and the lack of shutters and/or an awning to provide shade. Although the house is pleasant, this caused significant discomfort. The second and third bedrooms each have two single beds, which might be fine if you have small children, but not ideal for a group of adults. The bathroom in the master bedroom is outdated. Additionally, the outdoor table (plastic) and sun loungers are not quite up to date. An air conditioner in the living room is a must the rest would enhance the quality and align better with a villa in the higher rental segment.

Located in the sunny and highly sought-after area of Costa Nova, Jávea. Casa Mitra offers its guests a large private garden and pool area, as well as a convenient and secure off-road parking space for up to three vehicles.
Inside, the contemporary kitchen flows perfectly into a large open-plan living/dining room, where the comfortable sofa area and the beautiful fireplace are the heart of the house. Outside the living room, the charming glazed veranda offers guests an alternative dining space with views of the pool and gardens. The perfect space to have breakfast or sit and read a Christmas novel while the children splash about in the pool.
The spacious master bedroom benefits from a wall-mounted cold/hot air conditioning unit and has its own bathroom with a shower. The other two bedrooms have contemporary ceiling fans and share a family bathroom with a modern flush-to-floor shower.
In the exterior, lush plantations and mature trees surround the house, providing shade and privacy. On one side is a large patio and the enclosed swimming pool, perfect for parents with young children in tow. At the end of the patio is the independent gas barbecue and a fabulous covered dining area, perfect for dining or playing board games in the shade.
