La Golondrina is a true sanctuary for nature lovers, surrounded by fragrant flowers, lush greenery and peaceful corners designed for rest and relaxation. Perched on the hillside above Jávea’s charming old town, it feels wonderfully secluded, yet the boutiques, cafés, tapas bars and bustling markets of the historic centre are just a ten-minute walk away – perfect for exploring on foot.

What we love most about La Golondrina is its enchanting, almost hidden-world atmosphere, full of bohemian charm and the spirit of barefoot travel. Rich jewel-toned walls, vibrant artwork and fascinating objects collected from around the world give the villa a unique personality. Shelves lined with books celebrate an eclectic mix of authors and poets, while the inviting lounge area, with its deep comfortable sofas, is the perfect place to read, unwind or gather with friends and family.

Thoughtfully arranged across a single floor, the villa’s interiors are spacious, cosy and full of character. The family bathroom is beautifully styled with intricate arabesque mosaics inspired by Granada’s Alhambra, creating the ideal setting for a relaxing candlelit bath. Elegant decorative touches, shimmering glass ornaments and an Indian wooden mirror complete the space.

The master suite combines a characterful double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. A carved wooden headboard, rich colours and direct access to the poolside terrace create a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, while the en-suite features a spacious walk-in shower, iridescent mosaics and a striking fossil-inlaid stone basin.

Sleeping up to six guests, La Golondrina is ideal for families, couples or friends looking for a peaceful Mediterranean escape. With its private pool, shaded terraces, winding pathways and dreamy garden views, the villa feels like a world away while still being close to everything Jávea has to offer.

JH Tip: La Golondrina is located directly opposite Villa Levante and just 100 metres from Casa Alba, making it an excellent option for larger families or groups wishing to stay close together while enjoying their own private spaces.

1) Age Policy: Groups under 25 are not allowed (except families or young guests accompanied by adults staying in the property). Non-compliant bookings may be refused check-in without refund.

2) Winter Long Stays (1 Nov – 31 Mar): Stays of 31+ nights receive a special discount but utilities (electricity, water, gas) and weekly linen changes are not included. A €500 utilities prepayment is required; extra usage will be charged and unused amounts refunded.

3) Stays over 10 days: Spanish law requires signing a Non-Habitual / Temporary Housing Rental Contract

This charming traditional Spanish villa is located next to the Montgó mountain in the Castellans area of Javea. The large open reception room has a very comfortable lounge area next to a fireplace. There is a glazed naya, with views of the pool, with seating to relax, watch television or play cards. On the right side of this beautiful entrance hall, two steps lead to the dining area and a door to the spacious kitchen. The furniture reflects the owners' love of art and travel.

A corridor from the entrance door leads to a room with two beds and the room with two beds with an en-suite bathroom. The main bedroom and private bathroom are located in the living room or on the naya. Another bathroom is on one side of the main entrance.
The dining room doors and the naya doors open to the pool terrace, which has terraces over a living room and dining room. There is also plenty of space for sunbathing on this secluded terrace overlooking the large and attractive gardens and with wonderful views of the Jávea valley and Montgó on the other side.

This villa is located just above the old town of Jávea, with its shops, bars, restaurants and weekly market. The port, marina and El Arenal beach area are 10 minutes by car.

Advice JH: Villa Levante is located just opposite La Golondrina and only 100 metres from Casa Alba. If you are coming with family, booking two or all of them could be a good option!
