How to book

Enquiries and bookings may be made using the Internet, or phone/mail, or a combination of both. They will be handled on a friendly and personal basis.

Booking Procedure

On booking a non refundable deposit of 30% of the total rent is required, the balance to be paid six weeks before commencement of booking. Payment may be made by cheque or bank transfer. We regret we are unable to accept payments by credit or debit card. With the first receipt you will receive a form for you to detail your requirements, such as car hire, cot hire, and special requests. With the second receipt we will send directions and arrival instructions.

9. Low season bookings of 2 months or more Prices exclude laundry, water, gas and electricity costs
10. Surety Deposit On arrival, in cash, to be refunded on departure, less deductions for damage, breakage and/or loss of keys.

Booking Conditions

A contract between the person who makes the booking and JaveaHolidays comes into existence when the deposit has been paid and accepted. The person in whose name the booking is made (the lead booker) acts on behalf of all the persons in the party, and JaveaHolidays accepts payment on the basis that all members of the party agree to these conditions and terms. Payment can be made by cheque sent to our agent/associate in the UK, or by bank/electronic transfer directly into our bank account.

A Surety Deposit is payable in cash (GBP sterling or Euros) on arrival. The amount will be advised with the confirmation of your booking. The deposit will be refunded in full upon your departure from the property, less deductions for any breakages, damage and/or loss of keys. The lead booker agrees to pay the owner for the cost of repairing or replacing (as decided by JaveaHolidays or the owner) any item belonging to the property that is damaged due to negligence or wilful default of the guest party during the occupation period. JaveaHolidays has the right of access to the property at any time, for the purpose of inspection and maintenance.

When completing the guest booking form all the names of the party must be included together with the ages of children and infants. The total number of guests must not exceed the number of persons indicated on the completed form, unless agreed in writing, in advance. If the number of guests exceeds the maximum number specified for the property, any extra guests that were not notified to, or agreed by, JaveaHolidays, will be subject to expulsion from the property.

In extraordinary cases, JaveaHolidays reserves the right to change the property booked. Whenever possible such a change will be notified in advance of your arrival. The alternative property offered will be equal to or superior to the property booked. Should the alternative property not be acceptable a full refund of monies paid will be made. We regret we cannot pay any expenses, costs or losses incurred by you as a result of any change or cancellation made necessary by circumstances beyond the control of JaveaHolidays.

JaveaHolidays do not permit pet animals at any of their properties unless arranged and agreed in writing in advance. There may be an extra charge in cases where such an arrangement has been made.

JaveaHolidays (and the property owner) promise to provide the accommodation facilities that you have booked, and perform the services contracted, with reasonable skill and care. We do not accept responsibility for death, personal injury, or any failure or deficiency in respect of your accommodation arrangements that are not caused as a direct result of any fault on our part, nor for failures to local power and water supplies. It is your responsibility to show that reasonable skill and care has not been used if you wish to make a claim. In the event of any faults or problems, you must make JaveaHolidays aware in a timely fashion, if necessary, in writing. You are obliged to give us the time necessary to resolve the problem. If no complaint has been made, and you leave the property prematurely and without the explicit agreement of JaveaHolidays, you forfeit your rights to a refund on the rental price paid, unless the terms of this contract have been breached. Complaints that are not received until the end of the stay will not be taken into consideration and no refunds will be given.

The property may not be available for occupancy until 16:00 hours on the day of arrival, although every effort will be made for it to be ready as early as possible, subject to cleaning and preparation being complete. At the end of your stay, the property must be vacated by 10:00 hours on the day of departure, unless a later departure has been agreed in advance with JaveaHolidays.

If it becomes necessary for the reservation to be cancelled, we require notification in writing from the lead booker. JaveaHolidays will then acknowledge the cancellation, confirming the value of the deposit or full payment that is forfeited.

We expect all guests to show consideration for other people. If, in our opinion, or the opinion of any other person in authority, any member of your party behaves in such a way as to cause, or be likely to cause danger, upset or distress to any third party, or damage to the property, or in any way damage the reputation and/or goodwill of the owner and/or JaveaHolidays, we are entitled, without prior notice, to terminate the occupation of the person(s) concerned. In this situation, the person(s) concerned will be required to leave the accommodation and we will have no further responsibility towards such person(s). No refunds will be made, nor will we pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination.

Some of our properties offer TV with English speaking channels, transmission being obtained by various means, according to local facilities and laws. Due to circumstances such as distance, methods of transmission, satellite positioning, signal strength, on occasions weather, and local licence procedures, we do not guarantee the availability of these facilities, although we will always do our best to restore any failures that may occur.

The properties that we let are private dwellings, rather than tourist residences. They therefore reflect the personal taste of the owners and, in some cases, also the culture, traditions and standards that make each property distinct. It is possible that such differences may result in minor inconveniences which cannot be accepted as complaints. Windows and patio doors in Spain are not necessarily fitted with safety glass.

JaveaHolidays is based in Javea, Spain. Therefore Spanish law governs this contract and all matters arising from it. Any dispute arising from, or connected with, your contract with JaveaHolidays will be dealt with by the courts of Spain.
